This site is in recognition of the Impulse Kru growing out of Morant Bay High School in St. Thomas. The members of this original group can be traced back to the days of sitting on the idlers bench every morning before school. This is where our undying love for the "spirits" began as we would be found there drinking pepsi with bulla bought from the night before.

To the unsuspecting individuaIs this would seem to be quite legal but if one had cared to take a sip then the surprise would hit (RUM PLEASE).

The entertainment arm of the group - BLACK REIGN ENTERTAINMENT - was borne out of the days of everyone carrying a speaker, amplifier, equalizer or a cassette and the music (Beres' Step Aside Now) would be playing.

Transport can be traced back to the days of Sprite - yah man di Hiace Bus-, when lap up ruled, enough bout dat.

Now the group has grown wings and each member has embarked on their own path in life but one thing is true - the fact that the "spirits held us together all this time - we have a common bond.2
